Itinerary

Full Itinerary

Get picked up in the early morning from your hotel in Bagan to enjoy an incredible sunrise from a hilltop. Be ready for your best shot with thousands of Pagodas and colorful balloons flying over Bagan's ancient temples scenery.

Then, come back to your hotel in order to have a full breakfast. Resume your tour around 9:00 AM and start exploring the most important temples and pagodas, such as the 11th-century Shwezigon Pagoda built by King Anawratha.

Go off the beaten track and visit Khay Min Gha temple, with its many little stupas. There, you will find ancient temples and ruins in one place. Some of the temples are damaged due to earthquakes, which makes it a unique spot for great photos.

Then, walk around to explore more secret temples and have photoshoots both inside and out in the open air at these hidden sites.

Continue to discover the four Buddha statues of the Ananda Temple, one of the most well-preserved pagodas and surviving masterpieces of Mon architecture in Bagan. With its striking golden umbrella, it stands out brightly against the landscape and red bricks. Take a photo in one of its iconic corners.

After a lunch break at a local restaurant or your hotel, visit the village of Myinkaba. Take close-ups and portrait photos of local artisans at work, crafting and lacquering traditional wares.

As the day draws to a close, use the time to explore the inside of more temples and do a photoshoot with golden rays of light shining through the windows.

End your Instagram-worthy tour with a panoramic view of the sunset on the top of a hill.
