Inle lake is famous for its incredible leg-rowing fishermen and covered with the floating gardens, Inle lake, is the second largest lake in Myanmar located in Shan state with attracting traditional street food and home to various ethnic minorities and diverse natural species to discover.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival Yangon

Arrive at Yangon, welcome by our representative and transfer to hotel. After fresh up and visit National museum in Yangon is an interesting place where Myanmar’s ancient heritage and culture are on display. Continue to Bogyoke market, a famous shopping center to enjoy display of Myanmar superlative handicraft. After that, visit historic Strand hotel and other colonial styled red-bricked buildings and proceed to Sule Pagoda: This 48 meter high golden dome was used by the British as the nucleus of their grid pattern for the city when it was rebuilt in the 1880s. In the evening, Shwedagon Pagoda, which is claimed to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand five hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Enjoy fantastic sunset view from the hilltop. Overnight in Yangonel

Day 2 - Yangon – Kyaing Tong

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your bound flight to Kyaing Tong, Upon arrival Kyaing Tong airport and transfer to your hotel. After a brief fresh up continue sightseeing in Kyaing Tong starts with Shan traditional lacquer-ware making process and a pottery village of Yangon to observe traditional pottery workshop. Visit Standing Buddha Image situates at the place where Kyaing Ttong was founded about one thousand years ago. Continue visit to R C.M church and sunset from the one tree hill where a 245 year’s old Kanyin byu (diptero carpus spp) tree stands. The tree was believed to have planted by King Alaungmintaya, the founder of third Myanmar Empire, Overnight in Kyaing Tong.

Day 3 - Kyaing Tong - Hochi

Breakfast at hotel and visit and hike to “Ho Kyin” Akha village. Continue to to Na Phi Phank village where Lahu and Akha tribes living together. If desire continues visit to Phata and Tang Ma Phai Akha villages before return to the car and continue visit Mong Zine Khun village to observe traditional Lahu black smith. Overnight in Kyaing Tong

Day 4 - Kyaing Tong – Heho – Inle

Breakfast at hotel and transfers to airport for your bond flight to Heho. Upon arrival Heho airport and drive to Inle Lake. Inle Lake (41 km, approx 1 hour), Inle Lake, the second largest natural lake in Myanmar with 14 miles long and 7 miles wide, situated 4350 feet above the sea level among the hazy Blue Mountains. Upon arrival at Nyaung Shwe village we board on Intha boat and transfer to your hotel. We board a traditional motorized boat for a sightseeing tour of the lake. Visit to Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda housing five sacred and almost shapeless Buddha images, contorted because of the quantity of applied gold leaf, gifts from the believers. The Buddha images are purported to have come here in the 12th Century. In the afternoon, proceed to the silk weaving village of Inpawkhone and visit to Ngaphechaug (the biggest and oldest monastery around the Inle Lake). Overnight in Inle.

Day 5- Inle – Indein

Breakfast at hotel and excursion to Indein ancient Pagoda ruin complex (about 45 minute) built in the 8th century and rows of shops are famous. The regular 5 days market schedule to be held here today to make your visit a special one. Return to Inle Lake and continue visit the “North Group” include Ywama Village where magnificent floating market take place. You can also visit the gold smith workshops, the sculpture and umbrella industries. Myay Ni Gone Village to see weaving of fabrics from lotus. You can also enjoy the beautiful panoramic scenery while having lunch or dinner and browse through antique Shan lacquer wares at “Ann’s Hand Weaving Center and Restaurant and finally Kay Lar Village to observe floating plantations. Overnight in Inle

Day 6 - Inle – Heho - Mandalay

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your bond flight to Mandalay, upon arrival Mandalay and transfers to hotel. After fresh up proceed to Mandalay (founded 1857 by king Mindon) is the last kingdom as well as the center of the Myanmar cultural, tradition, arts and crafts has long been known as a centre of skilled craftsmanship and in former times supplied the royal courts. Visit traditional handicraft making process such as wood carving, tapestry weaving, gold leaf hammering etc. Continue visit foot of Mandalay hill to observe “the largest book” at Kuthodaw Pagoda where entire Buddhist canon (Tripitaka) has been recorded on stone tablets totaling 729 in number. Atumashi Kyaung (meaning the Incomparable Monastery) is also one of the worth-seeing places, built by King Mindon in 1878. Continue to Mandalay Hill, the hill has for long been a holy mount and legend has it that the Buddha on His visit had made a prophecy that a great city would be founded at its foot and command a magnificent view of the city and surrounding countryside. Overnight in Mandalay

Day 7 - Mandalay – Mingun

Breakfast at hotel and proceed to Kyawzun jetty, observe water buffaloes working with Myanmar superlative teak wood and busy riverside activity. Board on privately chartered boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwady River. Visit the home for the poor aged at Mingun. Observe Mingun bell, the world’s largest ringing bell weighing 90 tons. Other tour highlights are Settawya Pagoda with a marble foot print of Buddha and Pahtodawgyi, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remains of King Bodawpaya’s grandiose scheme Mingun Village and Shinbume Pagoda, most attractive pagoda built in 19 century by King Bodawpaya’s grandson in memory of one of his wives. Return to Mandalay and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Mandalay

Day 8 - Mandalay – Yangon

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your bond flight to Yangon, Upon arrival Yangon airport and transfer to hotel. After fresh up, visit to Karaweik hall known as a royal barge on the royal lake for the fantastic photo view. Continue to Botataung Pagoda which was named after the 1,000 military leaders who escorted the sacred hair relics of Buddha, brought from India over two thousand ago. In the evening stroll around hustle and bustle China town. Overnight in Yangon
